Overview
Enjoy the relaxing boat trip to MOLINERE POINT aboard the “SUNLOVER” and see the sweeping
panorama of the tropical coastline of our island from the sea.
Discover the enticing world of the first underwater sculpture park. View the sculptures, ocean floor,
coral reefs and colourful marine life from a unique perspective by relaxing on the boat without getting
wet. Or be more adventurous, by swimming or snorkelling in the crystal-clear waters of the tranquil
Caribbean Bay. Easy access to the water via a sturdy step ladder.
Grenada’s Underwater Sculpture Park, which is located at Moliniere Point (a Marine Protected Area) on
the west coast of Grenada, was the first of its kind. The sculptures were placed in the bay in 2006 by
world-renowned sculptor Jason DeCaires Taylor. The statues are created with materials to encourage
marine life. The statues were placed at a depth of about 6 to 16 feet to create an artificial reef, to
create a natural habitat for marine life, help protect the reefs and create a healthy ecosystem. In 2023, additional statues, “Coral Carnival”, were installed.
